Meet your therapist

Hi, I'm Dylan.

I built Flexion & Flow to be the kind of clinic I wish I'd had access to years ago — calm, capable, and genuinely focused on helping you feel like yourself again.

Dylan, remedial massage therapist at Flexion & Flow

I came to massage therapy the long way around. After years in a corporate career, I found myself burnt out, disconnected, and pretty unconvinced that "wellbeing" was anything more than a marketing word.

Then I started getting regular bodywork myself — and noticed something quietly transformative happening. My sleep improved. My focus came back. The constant low-grade tension I'd been carrying for years finally started to lift.

That experience pulled me toward this work. I retrained, studied remedial massage seriously, and built a practice around the idea that good therapy is about more than ninety minutes on a table — it's about giving you the tools to keep feeling better long after you leave.

"Come as you are, leave feeling better." — My promise to every client
Why this matters to me

I have ADHD. I get how overwhelming modern life can be.

I'm openly neurodivergent, and that's shaped Flexion & Flow more than anything else. I know what it's like to walk into a clinical space and feel "too much" — too loud, too distracted, too hard to read.

I know how exhausting it is to constantly manage how you come across just to receive care. And I know how rare it is to find a space where you genuinely don't have to.

So that's exactly what I've built. No small talk if you don't want any. No assumptions about what your body needs. No pressure to be "easy". Just clear communication, real consent, and treatment that actually works.

"I want clients to walk out of every session feeling more like themselves — not less. That's the whole job, really."

What you can expect from me

  • A genuine intake — I actually want to know what's going on
  • Treatment that's tailored, not templated
  • Honest answers — including when massage isn't the right answer
  • A take-home plan so you keep improving between visits
  • A space where you can just exhale
What I stand for

The values behind every session

🤝

Empathy first

You're not a body on a table. You're a whole person with context, history, and a life outside this room.

🎯

Real expertise

Properly trained, properly insured, properly current. I take CPD and craft seriously — it's how I'd want my therapist to work.

🔓

Consent always

You stay in control of every session. Pressure, areas, position, conversation — all on your terms, always.

🌈

Genuine inclusion

LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodiversity-friendly, trauma-informed. Not as buzzwords — as how I actually practise.

📈

Lasting outcomes

I'm not interested in keeping you dependent. I want you stronger, more mobile, and needing me less over time.

💬

Plain communication

No mystifying anatomy jargon. I'll explain what I'm seeing, what I'm doing, and why — in language that makes sense.
